Our story
We were childhood friends, first. Both enneagram 8s, Scorpios, empaths, and innately creative, we connected instantly and deeply (and had a lot of fun). As life goes, one started having babies and the other moved away and it's a story as old as time - we grew apart.
In 2020, Shelbey moved back home to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where Hannah had been building a successful photography career since 2017 (this one, actually!).
It was a total no-brainer and such a natural fit when we both realized that we shared a love of fleeting moments, bringing visions into fruition, and preserving all the whimsical and quirky moments that others might let slip away.
It only made sense to become 'one' under Lennon James Photography and we haven't looked back.
traveling Creators
A twenty hour road trip is never off the table for us. We are no strangers to living out of our car with our camera gear in tow and planning how to take our bride's vision and photograph her day like two ninjas with our own sign language. We are based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but are open to travel anywhere.
